Meet your Climb Woodlands Staff! Learn about why each of them got into climbing, a little about their background, their hobbies, favorite food and more!

Robert Raabe - General Manager

Robert Raabe

Robert Raabe started climbing 6 1/2 years ago. He fell in love with it shortly after joining the Lone Star Climbing Club and watching a video of someone sending Wheel of Life (V15) in Australia. His favorite type of climbing is “The Climb” by Miley Cyrus and his favorite food is 3 day old French Fries. We appreciate Coach Robert for his kind, motivating nature, he is a vital part of our Staff and Coaching team!

Caden Secrest - Head Setter

Caden Secrest

Coach Caden has been a wonderful addition to our setting and coaching staff! He is a dedicated climber and instructor who has a natural talent of teaching the joys of climbing while encouraging others to work hard. His favorite routes are coordination dynos and favorite food is a Crawfish Grilled Cheese. We are grateful for Caden and his love of coaching!

Cooper Greer - Head Coach

Cooper Greer

Cooper has been climbing for around 4 years and has worked at three different climbing gyms started at inspire rock then momentum silver street where he started coaching. He was made a head coach for about a year then he got into the sales part of the climbing industry at a territory sales rep for Trango. After that, he was hired to set and coach at CLIMB Woodlands and have since taken over as head coach.

Eric Jensen - Setter

Eric Jensen

Eric grew up climbing and 2 years ago developed it to become first a passion, then a job. He graduated from Texas State in 2020. He is an EMT-B pursing a Paramedic certification.  He enjoys reading, hiking and yoga. His favorite style of climbing is Sport and his favorite food is spaghetti with meat sauce.

Ashlynn Smith - Coach

Ashlynn Smith

She got into climbing about four years ago, introduced by a good friend of her. her favorite form of climbing is static climbing with a focus on crimps and balancing. She is a student at Abilene Christian University studying Speech-Language Pathology to one day become a Special Needs Speech Therapist. Her favorite food is Spaghetti and her favorite colors are green and orange. Hope to see you guys soon!

Tess Morrison - Coach

Tess Morrison

Tess began climbing back in 2021, and soon developed an appreciation for both the physical and mental aspects of the sport. In addition to coaching, she is also a part of the competition team here at Climb Woodlands! Her favorite style of climbing is dynamic, and she enjoys routes that utilize interesting mechanics and techniques and her favorite food is toast. Tess also loves writing, drawing, drinking coffee, and listening to Lewis Capaldi.

Zoe Powell - Coach

Zoe Powell

Zoes climbing journey began after visiting Climb Woodlands about 2 years ago, and has been hooked ever since. She mostly enjoys bouldering, but doesn’t have a particular style just yet and is open to all. Her other hobbies include art, singing, and making music. She is a self-employed face painter, and loves teaching and working with kids. Her favorite food is the Shaggy-Dog Sushi Roll!

Karley Morris - Coach

Coach Karley

Karley got into climbing in the Fall of 2021 by a Fellow staff member when she worked at a summer camp. Climbing was a fun challenge and the friendly community is what truly made an impact and got her into climbing. Karley’s favorite style of climbing is slabby routes and Her favorite food is chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes, gravy, and buttery corn with a side of milk.

Will Tedder - Coach

Will Tedder

Will Tedder has been climbing for 4 years and was introduced to it by Cooper Greer (his brother). Will is currently still in high school as a junior at Oak Ridge High School. His favorite food is Empanadas and his favorite style of climbing is Sport climbing. He is excited to share the wonders of climbing with everyone and cant wait till Christmas!

Annabelle Rohrbough - Floor Staff

Anna Rohrbough

Anna got into climbing a little over a year ago from her brother-in-law. After coming back to her home in The Woodlands she found our gym and joined after visiting twice. About six months after climbing, she applied here and has been working with us for about seven months now. Her favorite type of climbing is static bouldering with crimps and pinches and her favorite food is sushi!

Ethan Sharkowicz - Floor Staff

Ethan Sharkowicz

Ethan got into climbing 2 years ago because he saw the movie “The Alpinsit” and decided he wanted to get into it. He is hoping to attend Western Colorado University in the fall for Mechanical Engineering. He enjoys running, backpacking and biking. He enjoys climbing crimpy routes and his favorite food is cheese!

Ethan Thrasher - Floor Staff

Ethan Thrasher

Hello everyone his name is Ethan, he first started climbing during his first year of college and has been climbing ever since. His favorite way to climb is the way that gets him to the top. One of the things he love to eat is lemon pepper chicken from HEB, its like 5 pieces of chicken for 4 dollars its awesome. He is fully caught up on One Piece, has a +2 ape index, and he cant make up his mind about what hair style he wants. He cant wait to see you all at CLIMB Woodlands!

Taylor James - Floor Staff

Taylor James

Taylor began climbing with the Lonestar Climbing Club in 2023. He was a member at Inspire Rock for a year before making the switch to Climb Woodlands. He enjoys photography and video games in his free time. His favorite style of climbing is dynamic and his favorite food is sushi.
